An invented client, a small business, asks about the rules for fixed-term employment contracts for seasonal staff. Write an internal research memo answering it with AI's help, with every legal statement resting on regulations you read yourself. Done means the memo traces back to its sources, recent changes to the rules have been checked, and a qualified advocate reviews it.

What you hand in

The research question and the invented client facts on one page.
A list of the regulations used, with number, year, current status and the date you checked.
A three-to-five page memo with a short answer, analysis, risks and next steps.
A table of every quoted article in the memo with its original text, and a note of AI quotes that were invented or already repealed.
A statement that no real client data was entered into the AI tool.
Review notes from a qualified advocate before the memo is used.
