Automated decision
A decision about a person taken by a system without meaningful human involvement.
An automated decision happens when a system, for example a model screening applicants, sets an outcome for a person directly with no one really reading and weighing it. The PDP Law gives Personal Data Subjects the right to object to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal effects or significant impact. An approval that only presses a button without checking does not make it a human decision. This is a general picture, not legal advice.
