A release runbook with a way back

Your team ships an app with steps only one person remembers. Write a release runbook for your own practice app, including the steps to roll back to the previous version. Done means someone else on the team ran it in a practice environment without your help, rollback included.

What you hand in

A list of pre-release prerequisites: data backup, tests that must pass, and who gives the go-ahead.
Numbered release steps, each with the command or action and how to confirm it worked.
Steps back to the previous version, including what to do with database changes.
A drill record: who (by role) ran the runbook, where they got stuck, and what you fixed.
A statement that the runbook contains no passwords, keys, server addresses or real machine names.
