Kamus AI
Worktree
An extra working copy of one git repository, with its own branch, in a separate folder.
With worktrees you can work on several tasks at once without overwriting each other: one folder per task, one branch per folder, one shared history. This suits running several AI agents in parallel. A dependency folder shared through a symbolic link must never be committed. Remove the worktree once its branch is merged or dropped.
Also called: Worktree, git worktree, working copy, working tree
