Agent skill
A packaged procedure (instructions, examples, scripts) that an agent loads only when the task fits.
A skill stores a proven way of working so it need not be rewritten in every prompt. An agent usually sees only the name and short description of every skill; the full content loads only when that description matches the task. So a skill's description decides when it is used. Read someone else's skill before installing it, because its content becomes instructions for your agent.
