Assessment rubric
A list of criteria and performance levels used to assess work consistently.
A rubric states what is assessed and what evidence looks like at each level, for example beginning, proficient and advanced. A good rubric measures the learning goals, not things that were not taught such as neat handwriting. AI can help draft a rubric and flag vague wording, but the teacher sets the criteria and uses it to assess.
