Container image
A ready-to-run package holding an app and everything it needs, built once and run anywhere.
An image is built from a build recipe, then run as a container on the server. Build images on a strong machine, not on a production server that is serving users, and make sure the processor architecture matches the target server. Tag the old image before replacing it so rollback is one command.
