Least privilege
The principle of giving an agent or a person only the permissions their task needs, no more.
For agents, least privilege means few tools, read access when enough, narrow folders and databases, environment variables set explicitly, and permissions that end with the task. It limits the damage when an agent misunderstands or is misled by outside text, because an agent cannot break what it cannot reach.
