Finding the cause of an error or wrong behaviour, then proving the fix with a test.
Debugging starts by reproducing the problem on purpose. Then narrow it down: read the logs, check the data, change one thing at a time. With AI, ask the agent to first write a test that fails because of the bug, and only then fix it, so you know the fix hits the cause.
