Allowlist
A closed list of actions or commands that may run; anything not listed is refused.
An allowlist is safer than a denylist, because a denylist always lags behind new ways of going wrong. For agents, an allowlist is usually paired with three levels: allow without asking, ask first, and deny. Actions that cannot be undone should never be on the list without human approval.
