Code review
Reading a code change before it is merged, to catch mistakes, gaps and unproven claims.
A code review is done by a reviewer, a person or another agent, who reads the diff and tries to prove the change wrong. A useful reviewer runs the tests, checks real data and rejects a "tests pass" claim without evidence. An agent's review is still read by a person before the merge.
