Model bias

A model's tendency to produce output that is unfair or skewed for certain groups of people.

A model learns from text written by people, including the prejudices in it. As a result, a model may judge, describe or suggest things differently for people of different age, sex, religion or background, even when not asked to. Bias can also enter through the request or criteria you give it. For decisions about people, such as hiring or performance reviews, check the criteria and the output specifically for bias, and let a person decide.
