AI credits

When InfraLoka Academy uses AI credits, who pays, and what happens when credits run out.

What are AI credits?

Credits are the unit of use for features that call an AI model. Every call is recorded and billed to the account of the person who triggered it, based on the estimated cost of the model. New learning accounts get starter credits for the practice tools.

Which parts of InfraLoka Academy use credits?

Lessons, quizzes, final assessments, the glossary, the prompt library, practice briefs, live sessions and the clinic use no credits. Only the work map can use credits, when its AI mode is on. Without the AI mode the map is built from InfraLoka Academy templates and uses no credits.

Do I know how many credits it will use before I send?

Yes, while the work map's AI mode is on: before you make a map, the form shows the estimated credits and your balance. While AI is off, the form says "AI is not on yet" and maps are made from templates without using credits. Your AI usage history is on your account settings page.

What happens if my credits run out?

The work map still gives you a map, built from InfraLoka Academy templates without AI, and tells you how many credits the AI map would have needed. The rest of InfraLoka Academy is not affected.

How much does one credit cost?

The selling price of a credit has not been set for InfraLoka Academy. Until it is, InfraLoka Academy does not sell credits. When a price is set, the credits page will show it before anything is bought.
