Module 9 · Chapter 6: Skills
Skills as procedures
In short
A skill is a packaged procedure: the agent always sees its description and loads its content only when the task fits. Package habits that are repeated, ordered, have gone wrong and can be checked; read other people's skills before installing them.
After this lesson you can
- Explain a skill as a packaged procedure loaded when needed
- Decide when a work habit deserves to become a skill
